This section gives you quick and easy access to the answers to the questions we're asked most frequently.

Q: Is tackle supplied or do I/can I bring my own?
A: All of the tackle is supplied for stand up, the chair, or fixed rod fishing. You are more than welcome to bring your own, however we suggest you contact us for proper tackle recommendations.

Q: Which airport do I fly into?
A: Our local airport is the Charlottetown Airport, which is roughly 50 minutes away from the fishing port, which is accessible by car.

Q: Where can I stay?
A: We recommend a couple of different accommodations:

The Rodd Brudenell Resort is located approximately 35 minutes from the Charlottetown Airport. This is a 4-star hotel with restaurant and bar facilities. Rates are very reasonable.

Q: Where can I get a rental car?
A: If you are flying into the Charlottetown Airport, five rental car companies are located within the city. We recommend Hertz®, as they will arrange to have a representative waiting for you at the airport terminal no matter what time you arrive. Simply contact them prior to your arrival with your flight details..

Q: Are there any other types of fish to catch after a day's fishing?
A: A recreational ground fishery is available from August 15 - September 15. Here you can catch winter flounder from the dock. We are also licensed to participate in the recreational shark fishery.

Q: Do you require a deposit?
A: Tightline Tours requires a 25% deposit on days booked up to a maximum of $1000.

For example, if you book three days of fishing, we require a $750 deposit upfront.

Q: What's your cancellation policy?
A: Deposit will be refunded if you cancel more than 90 days before your date is booked. Deposit will be non-refundable within 30 days of the date booked.

Q: Do you supply lunch?
A: Lunch and complimentary beverages are supplied on our tuna charters. (Only beverages are complimentary on our other tours.) Due to possible allergies and sensitivities, we will discuss and confirm lunch during booking.
